Is it Hard?? or more confusing? i mean i know it takes time, and u need a wiring diagram for the car, but i got access to alldata, and have all the time in the world. or is it worth it for me to pay the extra like 100-200 for install at a shop?

With the dash removed? Cake. I have the Viper 5900 and it came with everything I needed to do a basic install (minus a magnetic switch and relay for manual transmissions, but if you're feeling dangerous all you have to do is ground the neutral switch wire). You can do a lot of cool stuff with it (trunk poppers, window control) with relays and such if you feel like it.
I really like the newer Viper that is 2-way with the really thin remotes but no LCD screen, very slick. If you look for some old threads there is a wealth of information, all the wiring diagrams are easy to find. |
