I've recently been having problems with what I thought was my AC Clutch. When idling and lightly touching the throttle to rev it up over 1500 you can hear the clutch kick in and out quickly. When driving it sounds almost like you have a hole in your tire - a pssh pssh pssh sound. It only makes this sound when you're accelerating - cruising the ac seems to work fine.
Couple weekends ago I replaced the AC Compressor with a new remanufactured unit from a company listed on stealth316. I also replaced the drier unit. I filled the compressor with the correct R134 oil, had it vacuumed and filled with freon. Still makes the noise I described above. Only thing I have tried is jumper the connector that plugs into the fluid pressure sensor on the drier unit. Doesn't change the symptoms. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Nick

I need to get mine fixed before NG. I have a friend that gave me a compressor so I was thinking of getting it hooked up with a new dryer. Do I need to put in a certain type oil in it or will the freon have it already?
