What brands of short ram intakes r best for 3000gts? what brands of have some of u had success with? which brands r cheap but still reliable?

You can get a K&N Cone filter from www.importpoweronline.com for like $60 shipped. They are reusable (you just clean it after like 50,000 miles) Probably one of the best, cheapest mods you can do!

about how much hp and torque does it add and how easy is it for me to install myself?

Has anyone heard about the brand Dark Force? It is supposed to give an extra 5-10 hp but i didnt know wheter or not to trust them cuz ive never heard of them.

in my opinion that 5-10 number you can forget about. maybe 5ish to the crank, and 2-3 to the wheels. but i guess that is not what you asked. i dont know that company, but i have heard good things about the e bay ones, some bad too. and remember to search on here or you will be told again and again.

get the washable spectra one from an auto parts store. i havent had a problem wih it yet. when i added an intake to my car, i could notice more power at WOT. not much, but noticable.
