Does anyone have a good guess on what it would cost to change my car from pearl white to black? The entire car would be painted(engine bay, inside doors, all of it).

This is the main reason I'm working on gettin a job at a local restoartion/body shop and going to take some body shop classes. Saves alot of money if you can do most if not all the work yourself

I concur. $6000 is a custom paint job with all kinds of candy and pearls etc. It will be a good bit of money because #1 the color change and #2 a black car has to be perfectly stright. Black shows everything from little dings to improper bodywork.

I take it you have never painted a car then? Black is by far the hardest color to do. White is the easiest color to do. When you start getting into adding metallic or pearls, obviously it gets a little harder though.
