3000gt suicide doors Cool or not?

What do you guys think about suicide doors on our cars. I made some homemade ones on my 1949 chevy pickup they work fine. I just havent seen any 3000gt's with suicide doors or is it too outdated? Thanx

I believe suicide doors is the doors opening the opposite way. So the hinge is by the end of the seat, and the doors open towards the rear of hte car instead of the front.

While I try not to be as bluntly RUDE as everyone else that has posted so far ::glares at them:: I would like you to understand something really interesting about the design of our cars. The cab of the car is LONG, so are the doors. I know I have enough trouble getting out of the car with stock hinges if I am in a tight parking place. If you are going to do a door mod, make it Lambo doors. If you do suicide doors, you arwe gonna have one H3LL of a time getting in and out.

I'd only fool with the doors if it would benefit in some way. First suicide doors have never tickled my fancy, but in addition to that, most cars I've seen them on are 4 doors, were their doors are shorter and straighter. For our cars, i think it woul dbe more of a pain to get out with the suicide doors than with the regulars.

If anything do lambos, atleast those make sense. Sometimes in lots you get that ass that parks close to your crap and you can hardly open your door. With lambos i think it would be easier to get out in a situation like that.

i just came from a meet with DeftSpyder and i must attest its easy getting in and out of the lambo doors they made. its soo cool and well worth the investment.

too bad i dont have 1500 to shell
