How about:

A center piece that has l.e.ds across the entire surface with programable options like:

Scrolling text center piece (programable like advertisement banners or the belt buckles you see at certain music venues) after a race flip it on and it reads (you got owned ) or

brake light reads "Mitsubishi" when brake is pushed in. (like previously mentioned)

Diamond star/or ram head lights up when brakes are pushed in the center piece or when put in reverse to substitute for the backup lights.

center piece continuously red across the whole bumper on the 3000gt 1rst and second gen center piece

arrows or different ammount of lights light up according to brake pressure. I think there was a product that is already made that does this (it is called smart brake) or something like that. <<<<<<>>>>>> starting from the inside and going outward depending on the ammount of pressure put on the pedal. these same arrows could be used in conjunction with the turn signals as well.

Ive been thinking about these Ideas when I first bought my 2nd gen DSM and would pay good money for a programable center piece. I have seen them done on license plate covers but the versatility would be even better on a big area like the center piece. The only problem I thought of was the key hole blocking part of the text or pictures, but they could scroll underneath that hole I guess.

A Digital Programable Nite-Brite without all the little plastic pegs getting misplaced by the vacume cleaner (Remember those, kids of the '80s?)

Hey everyone No, we have not blacked out a set of tails for a RT or 3ks. The tinting processes we use it isn’t as dark as Nite Shade spray tint. We don’t use that Nite Shade, it is cheap and dose not last... We would recommend LEDing the tails when you tint them because LED tail lights are brighter than stock lighting. That's fine... that's why you use the translucent tint, right? The light goes right through it, but it still looks blacked out when the light is not on.

...damn. now if i could "robomod" a set of r/t taillight covers to be clear--with an LED pattern that says "GTO" on both sides when you step on the brake.
