Default Who is interested in a Raleigh/Triangle Area Meet?

I been in NC/Raleigh/Triangle area since last year and I still havent meet anyone from 3SI yet. I have been a little busy so its also my fault for not taking the time to look for meets and gatherings.

Anyway, there is a place here in the Triangle area called Rush Hour Karting and well, I just thought it would be an awesome place to have a meet at. They have a restaurant, bar, and of course a full interior track (about 3/4 of a mile long) with the fast 35-40 mph karts.

I when out and got some pricing... but they guy said he can work with us depending on how many people would like to race.

Let me know, and I'm willing to get more information for you guys. You can also go to Rush Hour's website (just like the name www.com — the web starts here) and you can see the track and karts.

I'd be interested but I'm not exact on my moving date to get there. I'll be staying probably in the Wendell area for a night or two at my brothers while I look else where for something more semi permanent.

The gocarting sounds like a blast tho, that stuff never gets old. Tho for once in my life I am 3/S'less which feels weird. Maybe I'll pick up a n/a or something when I get there lol.

I too am 3/s'less my friend... if anything i'll be rocking the g6 coupe or maxima

I'm going to be getting more information about rush hour for those than don't know the place.

Group Racing
Individual Racing - Recommended for small groups of 12 or less
* SPRINT RACE $45.00 PER PERSON
5 min practice, 6 min qualifying (pole position) and 10 min race.

Individual Racing - Recomended for groups of 24 or less
*GRAND PRIX $55.00 PER PERSON
5 min practice, 6 min qualifitying, 10 minute heat, 10 minute finale (top Racers only)

Endurance/Team Building Race - for groups of 24 or more
Qualifying determines teammates, Drivers put in teams of 2-10, Pit stops involve teamwork to change drivers as quick as possible.
$1200.00 per hour

Of course there is always regular races, I believe they are $20 bucks each. Also talking with the owners, they said they can work with us to custom make a package that will work best for us, but we need to get them an idea of how many drivers we will have. Anyway, this sounds like fun, its really not a bad price for the amount of fun you get out of it. I used to host events like these in bayville, nj but we had the slow karts... but these things fly! Anyway, more info as i get it... let me know how many people want to do this.... and when... (weekends work the best in my opinion but then again week nights may not be as busy

Mon - Thu: 12pm to 10pm
Fri - Sat: 12pm to 12 mid
Sun: 1pm - 10pm
