Default help installing testpipe

I just spent the past 4 hours spraying the bolts/nuts with PB Blaster and trying to get em off (of the cat), no luck. A TON of rust, anyone with a lift + breaker bar wanna help me give it a go (I just jacked the car up on all fours as high as I could)? In/around Chapel Hill, NC. Or should I just take it to a mechanic and ask em to cut it? I'd rather do it myself if possible, mechanics quoted me anywhere from $80-120. Thanks.

DON'T cut it!! just go buy a breaker bar. if u plan on doing other stuff to your car u will need it for that to... but keep the cat. can make a good penny off of them. also try WD40. I think Mr.3000 lives up that way as well as Spector... try one of them.

I don't have a lift, but I've got a breaker bar if you still need to borrow one. I'm in Durham near Southpoint.

Oh, old thread. Well, after trying for a few more hours to do it myself, I decided to find someone to do it for me. Called a shop someone recommended to me, said they could do it for me on the low. They had to use a breaker bar for one side and then they had to torch the thing before they could get the other bolts off. Car sounds good, and they charged a fair price. I'd still like it to sound meaner, so I'm eventually going to get a downpipe...that'll prob be a while though, I'm (slowly) working on a 2 seater conversion right now + adding a sub/mono amp. Driving around with just one seat is fun, not sure why haha.
