All Carolina3s meet - June - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

Alright, I want to get something big together for June. Something that'll rival the BRG.

Throw out any ideas that you have, it's still a good ways away so there is plenty of time to plan.

My ideas:
~I could reserve the State Fairgrounds. Great restaurants near, as well as hotels. Plus there are some great parks for camping if that is your cup of tea. This would be in Raleigh, kind of the middle for the state.

~Beach trip

~Camping in the mountains.

I'll do whatever is needed. Just let me know what you all want and I can make it happen. Also, if there are vendors who want to help make this work, that would be great. Just let me know.

Also, it would be great if there were some 3si shirts and decals out that people could buy (or have if we have a donor). i'll try and come up with something by then for a Carolina3s design, since we do not currently have one.

im new to the carolina area, where is the fairgrounds? im in eastern north carolina near cape carteret

The fairgrounds are in Raleigh. I figured since it's kind of central, it would be a good spot. But like I said, I'm open to suggestions.

OK. I just realized that NG08 is in June... If that is going to cause conflicts, and make it so we cannot get a large enough crowd, then I say we changed the date. How about July instead? I would say August, but thats when school starts for a lot of people. Let me know.

Just an FYI, the 3S national gathering is going to be in June. Some people might not want to make the drive twice in the same month.

I like the idea of having the Carolina3s meets...we should have them a couple times a year, in different locations?

I like the idea of camping in the mountains, going to the beach, staying in the Raleigh area, staying home in Charlotte

Maybe a cruise around the Carolinas? Drive from one city to another? (weekend type event) I don't know, just kicking ideas out.

And besides myrtle beach...what else is in SC??? I don't go much farther south than Pineville, so I don't know what's down there other than those Rock Hill and Fort Mill guys, and they're scary, gotta watch them.

mikes95rt has a skate shop, he needs to throw a 3S bash at his place!...I don't skate, but I'll try!

^try being the key word. Skating is not my thing. Maybe we can plan a ski/snowboard trip for this winter, then during the summer have a beach trip and in the spring and fall have camping trips...
