Default Where can I rent/borrow an engine hoist??

Hi guys,
I need to rent/borrow an engine hoist/cherry picker for a few days, is there anywhere in jersey that I can rent one?

Still Need: AEM EMS, injectors.

haha...I was thinking the same thing. I got one and I am a little closer then vicious. My parents would love you to take it out of the garage for a little bit.

If you have a car you can come take it apart and put it back together at home or borrow someone's truck and come down and get it.

If the seats fold down, you might be able to fit mine in there. It folds at the legs, and gets somewhat compacts. Here is a picture of it:



The legs in that pic look like they're one solid piece, but mine separates between the second and third bolt (going from left to right) so the legs pivot and fold upwards. I'm going to be running around tomorrow and am going to stop at home, so let me know if you need it.

yea same here but i don't have that cross bar but didn't need it when i pulled my engine. the one hanging from the chains. yea it would fit in a accord.

Yea, that's a load leveler. I don't have one either, but harbor freight has one for $29.99 that I might pick up. I've used one before and it works well for balancing the engine when you drop it back in.

haha but luckily for us Mitsu designed our engines to balance themselves on removal by just attaching the hoist to those two lift points and it angles itself perfectly.

other engines..not so lucky.
