Well I've been meaning to get this up for a while but with the new year figured I'd start it good. I would like to offer my mechanical services to anyone needing help. Either an intake, or changing wheels or motor or trans jobs, I have mostly everything I need to do whatever.
Little about me: I recently graduated from UTI, an automotive technical school, while I and the whole world know this doesnt mean crap, I also have about 5-6 years job expierience working in a shop on cars. I started off as an installer doin oil changes and batteries at Pep boys, I was here for a lil more than 2 years and also where I gained the most knowledge. By the time I left I was doin clutch jobs, alignments, front end work, brakes, and misc. other vehicle jobs. I left here and moved to PA to go to UTI. I was transferred to a Pep boys out there where I was demoted to oil changes and batteries and tires again. I searched for something better. I got a job at an STS out there doin brakes, some installer work and helpin the ASE techs. I graduated from UTI and moved back to NJ and got a job at Strauss. They hired me as a C tech. I did everything and anything, whatever you needed I did, however, I wound up leavin because of mismanaged and to put it gently a severly uneducated corp. I did not agree with the way they did business. Now I currently dont work in a shop however I still do small stuff for friends and family out of my house. I am fully equipped to pull motors, trans, I have a 20 ton press for tranny work and all the power and hand tools to do it. Between all this shop work, I did countless performance work on friends cars and my own. This is where my performance knowledge came in. Unfortunately I cant put this on a resume , I helped install turbos, do exhaust work, engine work, removing heads, plenum jobs, etc. and also some slight tuning work. Now while Ill tell you, I am only 22, I am young, but I do have the knowledge to perform. I have not seen it all and will probably never see it all. Everything is a learning expierience. I also know I am not as well developed as some on here, but hope to earn that trust of members. I do intend to do work 110% I do not half ass work, even if money is coming out of my pocket, it will be done right. I also just wanna add I do not intend to open a business, just perform on the side work. This will run off 100% pure trust, I realize that, as I perform work it will be mentioned here to gain that trust for other members. This is directed toward but not limited to 3si, friends. Anything 3s oriented or anything not. I can work on just about anything. Ill answer questions or if you wanna discuss anything please let me know. I can rebuild trannys, rip out motors, clutches, driveline, suspension, interior, and most mechanical jobs to do with cars. Ill keep discussions in this thread so all can see, thanx....

Also did the clutch come with a new throwout bearing and do you have a flywheel also?? Fortunately, i've done a clutch job on both a 2003 GT and 2001 GTS Last edited by 1viciousVR4 : 01-02-2008 at 11:52 AM. |
