I can get a pic of the deer but there's guts all over the place and like a 100ft long blood trail littered with other parts of bambi's insides. I actually just drove past it..., slowly of course.

Took the mazda to a dealership to see if they would fix the light they wanted 460 bucks O_O ALL THAT'S WRONG IS THE LIGHT IS HANGING INSIDE THE LIGHT! It doesn't need a whole new light! Anyway we're trying to figure out how we can fix it. I know how to take the headlight out of the car but I don't want to open the headlight up for fear of making it worse.

Take a pic of the damage maybe we can figure it out. You are also more than welcome to stop by the shop and i'll take a look at it. If the headlight assy was damaged you can get a junkyard one for around 150.

EDIT: Nevermind, my stepdad went to a body shop and they fixed the light for 50 bucks. and to think the dealership wanted 460....

i hit a deer in january. trashed my fender, headlight, blinker, popped the side skirt off somehow and hood. just fixed it little by little over the winter and just got it painted 2 weeks ago. back to normal

Congrats..., i honestly don't know what i would do it X happened to me. I don't wanna jynx myself so the incident is X.

I'd probably violently slaughter every animal in a 20 mile radius if it happened to my sl.... almost did the first week i owned it there was a deer standing in the middle of the highway i live on... i was doing 60 in a 55 and it was just THERE all the sudden I swirved and missed it barely but oh god it was close.

i hit that son of a bitch doing about 50/60. i saw him from a distance and slammed on the brakes and swerved. i was cruising at well over 90. it was like 3am and mid january and freezing out. no cars on teh raod for miles and he just darted in front of me. funny thing is that he didnt even die on impact. i got out and walked back and it was just laying there looking around, i assume i destroyed its entire rear end. i know i was supposed to call teh police but i just got back in my car and left. since then, i could care less about any deer on this earth. new age of natural selection, hahahahaha
