Default Crashed my VR4... Faced with HUGE problem! Help!

Last night I was driving back from a friends house heading down the parkway. I was in the left lane when I noticed a pair of bright headlights rapidly gaining on me. I figured it may of been the police so I moved over to the middle lane. When the car got closer saw it was a silver G35. As the G35 passed me it revved its engine then floored it and cut sharp in front of me. This caused me to slam on my breaks and lose control. I hit the guardrail and woke up in a ditch.

My VR4 has damage on the driver side front end, fender, sideskirt, door, rear quarter, and bumper. It also seems that it is now leaking brake fluid or oil. The car can be started though. My mechanic is looking at it right now to determine exactly what needs to be done. I lack the mechanical skills to do the work myself and I'm pretty sure the cost to fix at the garage will exceed or be equal to the value of the car. And since this is my daily driver it doesn't make sense for me to invest the money to still end up with a 1992 high mileage car. I didn't carry collision.

I live in a townhouse community. And I can't have a damaged car sitting in the parking lot. And since this is my daily driver I need to replace it ASAP. I am faced with 3 options.

Option A) Sell the car as is with the damage for $1,000-$2,500 (based on what my mechanic says).

Option B) Scrap it and possibly make a few bucks on the metal.

Option C) Part it out.

Most of you will probably suggest to part it out. However, I don't have a garage, the tools, or the mechanical knowledge. The only way parting out is possible is if one of you guys can do it for me and keep it at your garage. I can split the money from the part sales 50/50.

I have less than 1 week to decide what I'm doing. I need to move fast since the car is at the body shop right now. I'm open to ideas, offers, suggestions or whatever! Help!!

Wow that is too bad. Is there anything the police can do to find the G35 driver in this situation? I can't believe he would cause an accident like that and run.

But if you can't get the damage covered at all, I would suggest selling as is. That's really too bad man.

I know i'm not too close i'm about 50 minutes or so south of Mike's shop but if that doesn't work out i'd be happy to part it out for you I have alot of space at my house for a down car I already have 1 here lol. Good luck with it man you might be able to get more parting it out if it has high miles.

Looks like the oil cooler may have been damaged. The damage seems repairable. Judging from the picture I think it should be sold whole, it would make a good project car.
