Default any electrical gurus in bergen county?

My door lock doesn't lock/unlock... switch isn't getting power to it... all wires are intact. Don't know what else to check for.

Full info + pics in this thread:
Driver's Side Power Door Lock

Honestly I wanna get this fixed ASAP and I don't mind paying so if you are willing to come help me fix it and want cash don't hesitate to let me know (ahead of time, I don't always carry cash). I bought this SOB for the winter time and it's already snowing yet she isn't ready still.

Thank you

The wires plastic cover is intact, but the wire is broken at the door connector.

Good luck on finding local help to make the fix.

I live in Bergen County! I am an electronics engineer; I could help you out; but I am currently out of state in Rhode Island. when are you looking to get this sorted out? Will be coming back down for winter brake soon.

easy fix if you know how to solder and have replacement wire terminal ends for a 3/S. That is the hard thing to come up with as Mitsu has similar wires but not identical.

I personally have fixed this on 2 doors as well as the heated mirrors and speakers not working for the same reason. Brittle old corroded wires snap.

Will go triple check the wires... the ones leading into the door correct? Not the ones leading into the bottom left driver side panel.. because there are countless wires in there checking all those would be a nightmare and a half

Scott:
come to think of it my mirror don't move either.. hmm

if you open your door the connector that plugs to the door with the latch...

You may see wires snapped off at the connector.
