Well I went over that with George when he invited me..and he said that since 3sNJ didn't have "Official" members/ an official members list it wasn't an issue. I figured that the "members only" thing was for 3sNY as they do.. as 3sNJ doesn't have any other "members only" events as noted by the many other events I've attended, and still others that I am slated to attend (visa vee the camping trip) he didn't see an issue..

Just for clarification, are all future 3sNJ meets going to be "Members Only?" Because I've been going to 3sNJ get togethers since 03 (i.e. before most of the people on this list) He didn't see the problem. It's your house man so of course your rules..see ya Friday

well I guess George doesn't know that we do have a list of members and as it turns out you are not on it. I don't want to get into a big arguement about this but you weren't invited by me or Alan, which are the two people running this event, so make sure you ask before you invite yourself to someone else's event.

dude...15Gs are like 1.5K. and you need to save for any random maintenance that might spring up at you. so make sure you keep about 1K on the side.

All up for the mods man but just work at em slow and enjoy the car so that when you do get the mods done you don't beat the poor thing into the ground

An FMIC isn't "needed" for a 15g car. As a matter of fact its overkill. You will be fine with DSM Sidemounts to be honest.

Though the FMIC does look sweet. So you have to make a conscious choice of going with an FMIC knowing full well that its a lot for your boost to pressurize the tank and that you may run into heating problems. I made this choice knowingly cause I really really wanted the whole 99 front end, FMIC and 575 CF hood setup.

If your cool with that, then by all means if you can fit an FMIC into your budget then do it. Just be aware of the risks and that SMIC's are just fine and much cheaper.

he could go with a smaller core. like a half size front mount which would probably work out pretty good.
