it doesn't work in V 2.16 . what software version are you using? also, are you retarding timing when the feature activates? how many degrees? You may need to retard more perhaps.

im using 1.14... what map should i use to retard timing? acceleration ign map our just the regular ign map? or should i go in the parameter settings and adjust it in the ign tab?

beside the rev limit value, there is a little check box. select that and then put in teh timing retard value on the same page in the required spot. You can have the EMU retard timing statically at any of the 3 Rev limits by your set ammount.

man, I may have to think about rolling back to V1.14.........I miss the up-shift rev limit feature. I think the only thing I would really lose would be the wideband automapper table. I will actually need that when I tune for boost to let me know if I am on target .

i thought by putting a check in that box it would create more boost for the 2 step and shift up?

that may be a by-product of timing retard, but it's main task is to retard timing when the limiter is activated. Anything else that happens because of it is a good coincidence.

So no-lift shift works perfectly in V1.14?, damn it I`ve just fitted my own system because I thought it was broken in all versions..

I don't think I can go back . I think V 1.X doesn't have ignition and fuel adjustment for IAT and Water temp inputs. (I actually use all 4 maps ).....stinks. What is really wierd is with 2.16 the clutch switch turns the Launch rev limit off . All I had to do is change the flat-shift limit trigger to "not used" and the launch limiter works fine, but it would be nice to have "everything" work properly . maybe if Greddy stays afloat, they can make a V3.0 and just fix everything.........one can dream, right?
