Pump:

-Timing right before knock was 27* when knock came in at 5500rpm timing went to 28-23-26 in those areas

Race:
-it does about the same and hits a max of 30*

What does this tell me? That it has to be the timing? Because the af seems to stay around 11 on pump and i know thats ok, and it doesn matter what boost i run at. So that only leaves me with timing to check right. If you need more info please let me know, i know i forgot to put alot im just kinda out of it right now...aka just woke up

Is that timing reported from the datalogger or from the e-manage?

I've noticed most of you have AEM FPRs, is it unadviseable to try to run your car with the stock FPR on a Walbro 255 FP, can FPR overrun be "tuned out" as has been said?

Wondering if I need to shell out the extra cash for an FPR setup.

I ask because I also have the AEM FRP, Supra FP Hotwired, EVO 560, stock MAF and VAC reduc. And well, tommorow I'm gonna hook up the laptop to the EMU for the first time and would like to have a base map to use as reference.

Is it included in the zip you posted?
Yes, the 13T's are super close to the 15G's so that base tune should work out for you. Im pretty sure it was attached to that post but if it doesnt come out let me know.

What stage are you at? I'm on stage 3 because of the boomslang and what I'm wondering is if you're using the I/J fuel map to substract/add fuel?

Im running very rich at idle, it'll even foul the plugs after 1 engine start. Black smoke without even rev'n

I only wired mine to stage 2. Master X is experiencing similar issues with his boomslang too. We might try and tackle it again this week. I am only using airflow correction for mine. Im not running stupid rich but I think my gas mileage will go up when I get my wideband and smooth out the idle and low load settings.

Did Trevor ever post his EM2 file? I'm about to search through the other emu thread for other good info before I begin the tuning battle this weekend. I know he has the huge amount of alchy/meth, but it'd be nice to see his well performing config.

well, you know that that signal doesn't take the e-manage into account right? for instance, if your datalogger says 37 degrees advance, and you subtract 10 from that to get the "real" number, and the e-manage is set at "-7" at that plot point, then you are not at 27 degrees advance. you are at 20. just making sure everything is clear. the e-manage adjustment is downstream from the logger
