I tried starting the car again after the wires were all double checked and now I am confident that everything is 100% wired correct. Only thing that could be done wrong on wiring is that I may have a few extra things wired in that are not adviseable like water temp and air temp sensor and speed signal ect... that were not in the blackstealth diagrams.

Fixing wiring has fixed my wierd tps logging problems and aic problems. It has also fixed a problem I had with the water temp sensor.

I tried to start the car using the tmf map I had shown earlier. I rememberd to turn all dip switches off and turn #1 on. Car would not start. It would make a pop or two here and there but it was no where near staring it seems. Im thinking about taking off the stage 3 wires and trying to start it with blackstealths 2.5 wiring rc550 map. Im just frustrated now. I guess I dont have to have stage 3 to run speed density.

I have a question about timing.. Im having knock around 3500 rpms and im runing as rich as i should be so i think its time to pull a little timing.... just wondering how i work the timing map. When i open the map its all filled with 0 in every box so by putting -5 or so in the problem cell would work. im not sure....

Pull 1 degree at a time and verify the knock went away. Pulling -5 degrees might be too much, but you will never know until you do it in incremental steps.

You could also try pulling -1 degree in the cell just before knock occurred too. I usually make sure my AFR is in good order before making any timing adjustments.

your E-manage Datalog says 12 degrees, or your ECU datalogger says 12 degrees? if this is per the Emanage (actual timing) I don't think retarding anymore is going to do you any good. Too little timign and you will start burning exhaust valves.
