i'm new to this fourm site. i've had my 91 vr-4 for about 8 months now and am looking into doing some mods to it. i've been looking into the ultimate as the piggy-back system, but i would like to go speed density.
so what all would i need to buy to get it done? and i've read the thread some and saw someone say a compatible wideband o2 sensor for tuning. is the aem uego wideband a compatible o2 sensor? thanks for any help mark |

It goes strictly off vehicle speed... Your better off using the A/F Target @ WOT. The vehicle speed based just tottaly screwed stuff up from when I've played with it. Coolant Temp map is good if you need to enrich on startup, but the best solution is just to enable the A/F Target again. |

Read post 21 Here. Actually almost everything you'll need to know is in this thread. Search it when you have questions. -= Ultimate Emanage Thread =- Quote:
IAT sensors? You are welcome. Ok, so now that I did my good deed today, has anyone had issues with really erratic or jagged signals on their EMU datalogger? I've been checking my grounds and that doesn't seem to be the problem, but I'll have to do some more checking. I'm getting it on Engine Speed, Throttle Position, my Wideband and occasionally on my Boost. I found Trevor's fix for the boost signal by using a surge tank, but I was sorta at a loss on the others. I'm not getting any fluctuations on my HHH Datalogger or gauges, but I didn't know if the EMU was just reading them so fast it was picking up stuff the others couldn't. Suggestions? Thanks, Blake

I'll try moving my Boost line over to that nipple.
I have an AEM UEGO. What has me sorta confused is that my engine speed is also mildly spiky. I'm going to make my own engine bay grounding kit to see if that helps, but I don't know how else to ground the EMU outside of my boomslang. Blake Last edited by waffleguy : 08-11-2007 at 05:05 PM. |
