i am pretty sure this has been covered before but i didnt want to look through 50 pages. Can you run the Speed Density setup with a manual boost controller?

Question Re: -= Ultimate Emanage Tuning Thread =-

Hey guys is it possible to control things like meth inj or nitrous from the emanage, i was just looking at the unused pins with stage 3 wiring, and there are 4 pins on connector B, so i looked it up on the install manual and they are listed as NVCS / Relay Channel control lines. "These channels can be used for relays to activate desired devices."

but when i looked them up iin my user manual, there is nothing there but these two notes:

Make sure the wire that was cut is taped up to prevent any short.

When using this feature the proper channels must be configured in the “I/J” set up in the
Parameter setting in the software and make the necessary jumper setting to activate these
channels.

1) now if i understand this correctly we can use the injector signal a and b to control two relays, so my question is would it be possible to create a two stage meth inj system which is ONLY controlled by the emanage?

2) and if it is possible how detailed can we make those maps? im wondering if we can control them based on boost levels and rpm.

3) im also assuming that since we would be using relays to control the meth inj the best we could do is to select between two flow rate nozzles, but they would either be fully on or fully off, the relay wouldn't be fast enough to use pwm correct?

as we have a 6 cylinders, we can just configure Channel A and Channel B for the EMU !

so, you can configure CH-A as a subI/J map ( for a high speed valve for example ). so you will set some values in IDC in the map ( from 0% to 100% )

the CH-B can be used for NVCS map. the wire will grounded if you set ON on the map. so it is just a binary fonction : 0 or 1

a good setup for injection of methanol could be :
a subI/J for a high speed solenoid valve aquamist.
a system who can control methanol by itself, that you switch to ON or OFF by the way of the nvcs ( in fonction of RPM and Boost if you have a boost sensor )

thanks for the prompt reply Fred, but if we use channel A for a high speed solenoid valve would there be enough pressure at the spray nozzle to create a fine mist? for example if we were using like a 50% pwm?

is any one using their emanage ultimate to control a aquamist 2c system?

I was gonna have emanage control the pulse width for the aquamist high speed valve, but the valve is too pricey for me. Just think of the high speed valve operating similarly to a fuel injector.

For you guys running low 20's for boost, what does your timing curve look like? I'm looking for timing when boost first peaks, and your max timing.
