I could probably throw the MAS back on and run that for a while. I did the maft-pro in stages and it did make it easier.

So basically I'm going to need..
- Emanage Ultimate
- Pressure Sensor/Harness
- AF Harness

Thanks for the help. I'm going to mess with my MAFT-Pro a little bit more but if I can't figure it out i'm going this way. I wish I knew about the rev limiter...I would have done this a long time ago.

Does anyone know if the EMU has worked sucsessfully at tuning a 98/99 in specific. I would imagine that it would only try to retune in closed loop but i dont know for sure. Our ECU's are much different then all the other years with internal hardware.

If you use tuning method #5, the stock ECU would be completely oblivious to the larger than stock injectors. See this thread:

I have a 98 sohc with the only mod being open element air filter. I am getting the error: 0432-00AE JP7 IGT-1 pull down error. I have all the way to stage 3 wiring completed. will post wiring and jumpers in a sec. I am curious if anyone has seen this error and if so what you had to do to fix it.

Any idea what your error code means? Here's what I found.

P0432 Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold
B0432 Rear Defogger Relay Circuit

what do either of those have to do with the emanage and it trying to pull down timing?

0432-00AE error code means: JP7 IGT-1 pull down error

if you look at the jumper settings in the manual it lists jumpers 7 and 8 for the normal type or the honda distributor type. i have tryed both ways on pins 1-2 and 2-3. if i try the distributor type i dont get a signal and if i go normal i cant "pull down" timing. going off of the emanage manual i pull timing from pin 11 on the ecu. and going off of the site you guys reference i would pull timing off of pin 23. now my question is off the the ecu diagram i got from there it does not list pin 11 for any purpose at all. but if i connect to pin 23 for timing i will not even get a signal plus about 4 other errors besides not being able to pull down timing. now my question is if you go to the ign tab it will pull down for 1,3 or 6 channels. I have not tryed this yet but if you get the signal from pin 11 and pin 23 is the ignition timing adjustment terminal how would i wire up both to pull down timing correctly considering i have a distrtibutor and not the coil packs?

I would have wired your emanage in stages verifying that each stage worked before going on to the next. Is it possible that stage 2 (ignition timing) is not correctly done?

For a twin turbo 3S vehicle, all the jumpers should be left at their default settings (for wiring stages 1, 2 and 3). Non-twin turbo ECU have different pin outs so you can't follow the diagrams posted here.

Try unplugging the six ignition wires from the emanage and restoring the ignition wires back to factory. With the emanage bypassed you can verify if the error code comes up there.

I find it strange that you couldn't use the ECU rpm wire to get a RPM reading, is it possible that wasn't the correct location?

Your error code has no clue about emanage, so if it references JP7 that does not mean you should go look at the jumpers on the emanage.

I did as you had said yesterday backing up to stage 1 and seeing if the error code goes away and it does. and slowly adding back to stage2 and 3. i get the error when i pull up the maps for the ign map 1 and leave it blank so no adjustments will be made. but i will try to reconnect the rpm wire back to pin 45 but what i saw previously was that i would get intermittant readings above 3,000 rpm's. but will look further into this. thanks for your help.

I ordered my Emanage ultimate with the boomslang harness including the knock and water sub harness, along with the greddy MAP sensor and ultimate map sensor harness. I also have the Inovate LC-1 on order, and was wondering when I saw the phrase "if you have a wide band, get the A/F harness".... is that a harness from Greddy you need, or does it come with the LC-1???

My last question: I noticed the posts about the Greddy injector adaptor 3 to get ride of the check engine light when running the boomslang harness... but when I look it up, it says that the Greddy injector adaptor 4 is for the V-6 GTO (GTO = VR-4 correct?) and that the adaptor 3 is for the in-line 4 from the EVO.... So what do I really need there?
