Gray Haze: I know your method is the "ideal" method. However, it seems very labor and money intensive. I'd have to buy and install 360cc injectors, a new y-pipe and reinstall the stock MAF.

Couldn't I just use the MAFTranslator with the settings zeroed out and use the injector compensation (from 360cc to 580cc), to get a baseline map? Or is this just a naive idea?

Hey just a couple more quick questions on operations of sensors

From first page:
So what can I do at Stage 1?
a. Assuming you already purchased a pressure sensor, emanage ultimate now allows you to tune your airflow map with boost (PSI) engine load. Why is that good? This gives you a more consistent tune so you don't have to retune your airflow map when the PSI on your boost controller is bumped up higher. I always had to re-adjust the airflow map on the blue emanage as it was TPS based only. This problem is now non-existent.

-So in essence I can add the greddy pressure sensor and wire it directly to the EMU w/o having to loop thru the ECU or anything? What wires does it go to? I'm assuming just the air (voltage) input?

-Also, does the wideband work the same way? In other words you can keep the WBO2 as a totally separate piece from the ECU? Where would that plug in to?

-Also, is the AEM linear output so we can plug it in directly? I dont remember but I wanna say no.

Dood, All that is really needed is ONE person to do this on the board, if my engine wasn't laying in peices right now I'd go do it. I was working on it after installing my EMU, but its hard to tune a car when your engine kinda doesn't have piston rings any more...

Ive been trying to get a local member to let me borrow his car so I can build a good EMU base map, but uhhh not happening. PM Presto97SL and tell him to let me borrow his car for a few hours to get this crap done!

As far as using the general injector scaling correction, the second your ECM hits 100% IDC, fuel is going to become un controlable. You can keep your maf though and go about my method as well... Your just gonna loose fuel control after 100% IDC!

NO.

The module in question is the CEL bypass for injectors.

its been my exsperiance that first gen ECU's arent very picky as far as CEL's.
I can run w/o any o2 sensors and fire on only 4 cylinders and STILL not get a CEL.

You definitely do not need the O2 simulator. If my memory serves me correctly, you only need the O2 simulator if you have a 2nd gen and you gutted your precats and/or removed your cat.

You don't need the o2 simulator, if your running the EMU to control your injectors...

You need the Greddy Injector Adapter... without it the ecu will think it has no injectors to fire.
