Also, where is the best place to order the GM air temp sensor from? I've never really dealt with domestic repairs, so I'm not to sure who has the good deals.

Last question: Where are people mounting the GM sensor? I would imagine the best place is directly before the throttle body, but maybe not.
I ordered mine for only $21 from DIY Auto Tune.

Mounted it temporarily(waiting on PPE FMIC Pipes) on the stock Y-pipe next to the plenum harness. Pics below:

Also, I used a 3/8-18 NPT Tap for the IAT Sensor.

Sweet. Just picked one up too. Oh yeah, and good luck getting the PPE pipes. I guarantee they won't be shipped today, as Tim said.

PS. Where did you get your dual airfilter kit from?

Chris,
That's a Dejon tool intake thingy -- the other chris that I'm helping just got the same thing -- fucking awesome IMO.
To log the AEM you have to ground the black wire to frame, that's all we changed. White to white, black from the gauge to frame.

You got it just about right Henry; yes, I did ground the black from the gauge to the frame, but also the black wire from the emanage. You have to complete the circuit to the emanage. I'll try and get a pic later today.

Just curious - does anyone have opinions on whether the temp sensor should be placed before or after an alcohol injection sprayer? I'm sure someone is running a setup like this. I would think placing the GM thermal sensor after the sprayer nozzle would make sense (unless you use a harsher additive like Toulene).

I would definitely place the IAT sensor before the alky injection.

I would do the same thing. You wouldn't want the IAT to be cooled down artificially.

I've just read the Operation Manual cover to cover. Tell me if I've got this right... if I want to do speed density, I need to choose my two Options as GReddy Pressure Sensor and A/F Sensor. I can choose no other options. But to do launch control, I need to choose the External Switch as one of my options. That seems to say you can't do both Speed Density and Launch Control... is that right?
