Thanks.

How about mounting positions? Is it possible to put it in the glovebox?
With the part that simulates the injectors to prevent throwing a CEL, Does it matter what wire is hooked up to what injector? Or does it send the same info on each wire?

Underneath the passenger seat, or glove box are good mounting positions.

The greddy CEL adaptor doesn't care which injector it's attached to. Yes, it performs the same function on each wire.
I just finished the install. She cranked right up with the map I wrote.
A couple questions/problems.
I noticed the water temp read low with the default sensor selection reccomended in this thread. I went thru all of the other sensor types and they all read low...the closest was 19F lower than my Defi gauge (which is right next to the OEM sensor). After that I noticed that my fans failed to come on...even when I hit 221F (should have been on high by then). they work with the A/C though. Does everybody's water temp read low? Is the ultimate changing the resistance of the circuit and making the stock computer think the motor is colder than it actually is?
Second thing. After the initial run session I came back to re-start and troubleshoot the radiator fans. Now the car won't light off. The starter spins and I smell gas but there is no ignition. I checked timing in the ultimate dataloger an it varies just like it should. I did some research on the net and I found that some people have burned up ultimates by leaving Jumper JP8 set at 1-2.
To refresh your memory
JP8
1-2 = 5V coil operation (default)
2-3 = 12V coil operation (reccoemded for Hondas and miata's with tach problems in the manual
So I pulled the PCB, inspected the ignition chip (A-OK), and moved the jumper to 2-3. Still no fire. So those of you that have ultimates running...are you running 1-2 (default) or 2-3 on Jumper JP8?
I'm using the default 1-2 position for JP8. I'd switch it back ASAP so you don't fry anything. I haven't looked at my coolant temp setting so I can't comment on that.
On 94 and newer ECUs, the radiator fan is controlled by the ECU. So if the reading is molested by the emanage, and the ECU is getting incorrect info, your fan might not kick on.
91-93 ECU's are not effected as the ECU does not control the radiator fan.
It is possible that when you have the DEFI + ECU + Emanage all getting a reading that the voltage is reduced, and thus lowering your reading.
The defi has a dedicated sensor right next to the stock sensor.
I'm thinking about cutting that wire. Water temp is just a nicety and I don't plan on using the A/F Target function.
If you're running JP8 at 1-2 succesfully I'll switch back.
I still have to figure out why this thing won't start. After the last run session I only did two things:
- Pulled and inspected all the fuses. Reseated the radiator fan relays. maybe I brainfarted and moved an important fuse to one of the dummy fuse locations. I need to find my under-dash fuse cover so I can verify things are where they should be.
- Tried to datalog the stock computer with my OBDII cable so I could see what it showed for a water temp. Little did I know the soldered connections had finally broke inside of the serial cable adapter. I hope that didn't smoke my stock computer. I REALLY don't see that happening though. The check engine light still self tests when you key the car.

Depending on what version EMU you have there is an ignition chip that can be knocked off when the board is put back in the unit.
If you where checking jumpers that could be what happened with the no spark issue.
