I don't use the knock feature so I can't help you there. I monitor knock on my OBDI datalogger.
Timing numbers from the datalogger hasn't worked for a long time (since v2.00 and newer). If real timing numbers are important to you, go back to old firmware/software v1.xx.
hey.
i am almost finish with my stage 1 and all connection.
If i have LC-1 and one cable that goes from LC-1 where i should connect it to EMU? DO i have to connect it to front panel? i do not have such a connector like that. that signal from LC-1 could be 0-5V or other i can program it but which PIN into EMU should i use.
Also about MAP sensor I am using some Map sensor that gives output like 0-5V (range 0-2,5bar - i can use scale on Greddy just to change it and comparing with my boost gauge) but.. which PIN on EMU should i use . I want to make correction of MAFT (Hz) vs BOOST . I will not get greddy pressure sensor in short time so again i do not know if i should connect it to front panel or to main harness. All i got is your thread which is full OF usefull info but hard for me to find it..
1. AFR where to EMU?
2. MAP sensor where to EMU?

Ok. So I cannot for the life of me get the usb drivers for the emu to work in Vista. I tried installing the driver before I plugged it in and that didn't work. What happens is Vista detects a new device, asks me for the drivers, and I browse to the files. It says that installation failed. I tried the drivers from the yahoo group and one other place that had them in this thread. I don't understand what's going on. I've even tried versions 1.09-2.16 just in case there was a problem. I can install the e-manage program fine and that works. I have uninstalled/reinstalled trying different orders to see if that worked. I'm wondering if it isn't going to work with Vista. I know there has got to be something I'm not doing right.
Eugene and i also had problems when we plugged it into the usb port. the driver installation went fine, but vista kept looping the pop up that asks to communicate with the emanage.

Yes that's the exact same thing it's doing to me. Sounds like it's time to put XP on VMware and do it that way. I really couldn't remember if people were having problems with Vista so I didn't want to rule it out yet.
I got the driver to work fine with XP but it won't connect right now. It's almost like the emu isn't powering up because the active light isn't on and it says that it's offline. I'll probably mess with it some more once I get the turbos swapped.
It's not made for Vista, but most things worked fine under Vista 32bit. The datalog window screen size was messed up. I've switched back to Windows XP, no more headaches.

For some reason I can't get it to connect in XP. It says that it's offline. I even checked under removable devices to see if it was listed under there but I didn't see anything. I have a feeling something isn't working right. The drivers work fine under XP though.
