I'm still struggling with getting my E.U. set up/installed correctly. When I datalog with the E.U. the timing shows -99 +- 10 and stays around that value. On the pocket logger it is normal.
I can't get any duty cycles out of the subinjector on a datalog. The Blitz Dual Solenoid is wired as follows: The white wire from the solenoid(s) is common for both the solenoids and is connected to subinjector B. The Purple and Blue wires were separate for each solenoid so I connected them so they work at the same time. Otherwise air would just bypass the closed solenoid as still be at wastegate pressure. Are there any parameters to set up for the subinjector? I followed the instructions in the "GM Solenoid" thread.
91' Fed VR-4
10:1 compression
Boomslang harness w/ updated ignition adapter
Greddy Pressure sensor
LC-1 installed to E.U.
Blitz Dual Solenoid boost controller wired to sub injector "B"
360cc injectors
DR-500s
the rest should be in the sig.

-99 +120 = 21 degrees of timing. That's how it works with 6 cyl cars on the emanage. The timing value on the log will fall -120 degrees out of phase. Greddy knows about it and doesn't care for some 4 cyl cars like 240's and evos, it is 180 degrees out I believe.
I don't know about the sub injector thing. Are your solenoids hooked up to power? Are they the right resistance? Do you have the sub injector map turned on?

Dang that must have been a newb question. I have the sub injector map up on my tree. Is there some where else I need to turn it on? Shouldn't I still get duty cycle numbers with no solenoid installed? I have it grounded to the emanage on port B. Are A and B the same?
Forgive me if it has been mentioned before as my searches came up fruitless and 131 pages looks daunting.. I am having a problem getting the software to connect to the unit. Its always 'OFFLINE'. I get the active light blinking when key is turned and interaction light is solid on. My computer recognizes when the USB is plugged in and says "e-Manage2 USB device" I get the same problem regardless of version's. Unit came with v1.09 install CD IIRC. And I tried v2.20 (Its a shame mohdparts is no longer with us, they had multiple different versions one could try) The other potential problem i see is i am trying this with a powerbook G4 through virtual PC (xp professional). Any help is greatly appreciated.
i'm having a hard time finding a 4K ohm resistor. does it have to be exactly 4k? i keep finding 3.9k and then 4.7k, but nothing in between. is it ok to use 3.9k?
I was wondering if i could get an emange blue boomslang harness to make it stage 2.5? Its confusing as some people bought the emu boomslang and downgraded to 2.5 wouldnt it be cheaper just to buy the blues and not deal with taking the wires out? Just want to make sure before i order one

You're right, a blue emanage boomslang would be equivalent to stage 2.5 and it would work. And if in the future you decide to go to stage 3 you can just buy the greddy harness for upgrading an existing blue emanage wires.
