I solder it next to the EMU, and velcro it to the EMU.

ECUs freak out when it determines there's no injectors on the injector wires. That greddy CEL adapter pretends to simulate the fuel injectors electrically and is made to keep the ECU happy. So this is why the adapter is installed on the ECU side of fuel injector wires.

ok so I just want to get this straight, since I may have to re-solder this.

On the Boomslang harness, the adaptor must be soldered after the emu and as close to the ECU as possible correct?

Like this?
Code:
                                   Boomslang Harness
         in from car -----> []-------------       -------------[] ECU
                                          | | ^
                                          | | |____ Adaptor here?
                                          | |

No the adapter must be soldered BEFORE emanage.

The adapter fits in between ECU and emanage. Distance is not an issue.

Include a datalog with your maps too. If you include several, be sure to rename them so we know which datalogs go with which maps.

There's a major flaw in both your maps. Let's take the example of 4000 rpms at -5.8psi load. In the airflow map you request -43.5% of the airflow signal to be reduced which tells the ECU to reduce fuel and increase timing. Next you ask the fuel injector pulse to be extended by 80% (injector adjustment map) again raising the overall fuel delivery. This will certainly make your tune unstable to minor fluctuations and add timing unnecessarily.

Are you using stage 3 wiring because I noticed you have fuel injector correction setup at 360cc/550cc. If this is true, then using airflow adjustment map is completely unnecessary.

The only rational I can think of why anyone would do this is to avoid the "100% input injector duty cycle problem". Use Gray Haze's method to address the 100% problem, and all will be good.

Personally I would start all over, but that's up to you.

Yeah, I'm on stage 3 wiring.

I'd start again if I knew what I was doing but the tuning was actually done by a tuner (who obviously doesn't know how to use the EMU).

FYI, if you haven't picked up an Emanage Ultimate yet better grab one now while you can still get them cheap on ebay. New units are 30% more expensive today.
