Default Spark Plugs?

For those of you running 20+psi what spark plugs are you using?

I'm still running a stock heat range, but that's probably why I'm having to pull so much timing to prevent the knock....

Also what brand and type? Iridum?

Part# would be acceptional too! I'm running NGK Iridum IX, BKR6EIX-11, with E85. I should probably go with a colder plug, but not sure 1 heat range or 2? When it's cold I have a hard enough time starting this thing, and I don't want to have to pull the plugs once a week to clean them becuase of fouling!

Your having knock issues with E85...? How much boost are you running? What is your timing at WOT?

Denso? Ok, works for me... That looks 2 heat ranges colder?

Yea, I'm seeing some knock (+2volts raw), not really sure if it's phantom knock, or if it really is there. I'm in the process of building some det-cans to hear for myself, but the spikes are sudden, steep, and above the rest of the "crowd" of signals in the area.

I too was hoping running E85 that I wouldn't need anything colder, but I'm going to try to make this engine last at least through the season, so I'd rather be safe than $orry.

I'm running 24psi, and I don't know what my ign was, I'll have to look at the maps tomorrow when I'm back at the shop with my laptop. I do remember compared to just about everything else that I looked at it was pretty retarded. I tuned it to hang out 11.4-11.6 AFR under boost, but I noticed that on the last EVO that we tuned 10.5 netted us +3-4 deg of timing, and quite a bit more power.

I just got a new AWD dyno, and provided I can free up some time on it, I'm going to try to stick it on there this weekend and get some play time in. I just wanted to get the stupid things like plugs out of the way....
