I recently had headers installed along with a wideband. In the past couple of weeks i have noticed as i roll on the throttle i get a 10.(0-9) on the wideband. it has been tuned with a safcII and had a little wave from leaner to richer before and after 4k respectivly. when i started to see the spike i dropped my RRFPR down 2 psi but not much changed. I have felt it studer when i see the 10. so i know its not the wideband. it has seemed to get better since i set the safc back to the origional tune. i am now keeping an eye on it per IPS but thought i would give u all a shot at some imput also.

well i had to bump this cause the prob is still there. I have been playing with the safc and had the truck running a little better( not going 10-1) but never better then 11-1. it still sputters or bucks. if i pull more fuel at 4k. it is really bad. i try to level out the safc adj and it sees 10 again.i am now looking at leaning it out before 3500 rpms to see if it smooths out. i may need to advance the cam gears again but in this rig that is big $. ideas anyone.

answer..... NE points. I went ahead and advanced the cams but it didnt help. Looked back at some of my old invoices from IPS and noticed my ne points were diff then before the ecu retune. They were every 6-800 where before they were every 400 and bracketing 4krpm. called IPS to see when i could get in and told mike what i have been doing and that it is down to the points or the ecu. The prob was created by me swithcing files before taking it in to be tuned after the ecu was retuned. I wanted to have 1 for spray and without. i let the tec know i did it but i guess it didnt occur to him to reset the points and the pulls were not that bad. the a/f curve was wavy but the truck didnt start bucking till a coulpe days later. Any ways a few pills later and i was up 6 peak hp and torque and 15 at 6k rpms. + plus they took care of me a little on the dyno time so all is good. while im on the topic is there a site tool to upload graphs?
