Default question about tuning aem I am stumped?

I always get hesitation when I first push the throttle just off idle, somethimes the engine will idle up and down, and sometimes the car will die when I let off throttle when cruising. Anyone have a direction for me to take?

Here is the thing with the AEM ems.

Use the Logging function and now record the following:
o2's, TPS, Accel Fuel, RPM, and Load.
The log will show what is going on.
Hesitation can be from too rich to tooo lean AFRs...most likely there is not enough Accel fuel when first going off idle.

The " up and down Idle" issue: Go log the Idle parameters on a separate log. An over active table for rpm vs. ignition timing will do this as well.

You could post your workmap in the tuning AEM section and ask there.

Accel/Decel fueling is most likely off. Could be accel settings, or decel settings, most likely decel settings. Also the lower regions of your map may be off as far as target AFR and timing.

It really sounds like the vehicle is lean on throttle accel and can't catch/recover in time. But it could be a raw map problem also. This is of course assuming all your sensors read correctly and you have no mechanical problems.
