Default Problem with using HHH and connecting to ECU HELP PLZ

Is this the way its supposed to be pluged in? Because I can not connect to the ecu

That DB9 black cable between the Belkin adapter is not necessary.

I noticed that you required a DB9 gender changer, this makes me believe your datalogger cable is wired for palm devices and not for notebooks. If that is true, then you should replace your DB9 gender changer with a null-modem adapter. The null-modem adapter essentially swaps pins 2 and 3 around.
