The purple wire is an "input", not a ground per se'
The Pro reads the voltage difference between the orange and purple. You want to connect the purple wire to the WB analog ground if it has one, or the WB regular ground, close to the WB unit if possible. Which AEM did you get...? the gauge, or the interface? Bob

It is the 3in1 gauge. It has a...
12v Power (Red) Chassis Ground (Black) 0-5V Output (White) Serial Output (Blue) So does this mean I connect the purple wire to the black wire as close as I can get to the gauge? Thanks for your SUPER FAST response Bob.

I'm sure you are getting tired of me asking stupid little questions. But now I am having a problem updating my PRO. When I try to update it, it can't connect. I also have the same problem when I try to use the TunerPro. Now I'm not ruleling this out because it could still be the problem but I am useing a USB-Serial adaptor. Now I know it atleast works somewhat because my Palm Pilot doesn't have any problem HotSynching with my laptop using the adaptor.

Well I'm pretty sure its the adaptor acting up again. Because I tested my Hotsync again and it didn't work. It is a proflic or something like that, I'll get it figured out and if it doesn't work after I get my palm to work then I'll let you know.

Turbobob: my maft-pro is retarded. It occasionally gets these weid quick up,down,up,down fluctuation of the airflow signal. The airflow wires are soldered in and it has a good connection. It happens under light throttle usually. This quick fluctuation of the airflow signal then casues the pulsewidth and timing to do similar things. Any ideas?

Im having problem using the boost controller. I only get ~13psi. I believe this is wastegate pressure on my tial external wastegates. Im thinking the vacuum lines aren't hooked up right. IM trying to run around 24psi. What do you think would be good settings for the gain, psi start, and DC%, etc. Do you have a quick vac diagram for the boost controller to the wastegates?
Otherwise, im very pleased with the MAFT PRO. Great Job! Thanks, Brian
