no I have the right harness and all the connections are right. Turbobob called me last night (thanks turbobob), and we figured out that I still had the unit set for speed density.
all I have to do is change 1 setting and it should work. I'll post the progress tonight when I change it.

Just an FYI about the idle.. I know Rustang said he has his bumped to like 900-1000 or something but I didnt want to do that. I prefer the stocklike 650ish RPM idle... and just wanted to make it clear that is what mine is STILL at and its idling perfect including transitions away from idle and RPM drops back down towards it.

I tried to update the software, but had many problems. I was able to update the unit itself, but when i was tryingto install a new version of the program on my computer, i got that windows error. I tried uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling, different directories, etc, etc.. with no luck whatsoever. I also tried using Turbobob's bin file with the mainscale changed with the older version, and my idle did not go back down.

Also, if i rev it up, it will go up, then fall like it is about to stall, but doesnt.

I have no o2 sensors hooked up ATM, but will have the wideband hooked back up by friday.

Any ideas on how to both update the software, and get my car to idle at a decent rpm? (i have not been able to drive it yet)
On the Pro, verify the sensors:
MP
MT
TPS
RPM
FO

On a logger verify the signals
IAT
BARO
Airflow HZ

When i get home from work, i will take a look at all of those and post them up.

What do i need to do about updating the software?

i think i got a faulty boost controller...

i stopped and swapped the vacuum lines around on it, and it still did the same exact thing..

it goes to 10psi, then drops to 3... but if i turn the DC up to 100% it pins the wastegates shut.... im so confused....

the instructions say to use a DC that is way too low.. keep bumping it and eventually youll get the boost you want.

Try 45+%

i have tried everything from 10 to 100

the only thing it does is raise the boost that it hits before it drops back to 3-5psi.

for example, at 75% it would hit 16psi, then fall back to 5

can you take a picture of your solenoid and illustrate what line goes to the Y pipe and which one goes to the actuators?

okay, no datalogger ATM

Car off..
MP - 96
MT - 65
TPS - .84
RPM - 0
FO - 0

car running at idle
MP - 43
MT - 67
TPS - .86
RPM - 2850
FO - 140
TR - 0.09

Also, i was playing with the throttle and backfired like crazy, then entire DS of my engine bay caught on fire... (rear turbo shot 10 foot flames.. no joke)

I cant hit boost, so i think i may have a boost leak. I'm about to do an intake pressure test and a compression test and i will let you know what turns up.
