My car is running really good now.... even abused it QUITE abit the other night and the tool worked great. Got alot of mean cars around here to mess around with hehe.....

I still need to perfect my high map.... so that the AFR tracking doesnt have to work as hard but overall the car drives REALLY close to the way it did stock and is doing what I tell it to do. I am really impressed with this unit at this point, and I am sure it will only get better. As of the other night I set up my IAT input into the ECU like Bob mentioned also, it seems to be working fine.

it is obviously more complicated than an afc and is definitely more along the lines of emanage and standalones like AEM and haltech, but once you get the hang of it, its like riding a bike

To be fair. I actually had a mechanical problem with my car. It wasn't due to a lack of experience (which I am lacking in anyways).

I had a question though. You know the values for TPS enrich and Map enrich, what exactly is that number. Say if it is .6, does that mean the car will richen .6% depending on the TPS position?

Its a unitless gain term......... The scaling was worked out so that the adjustment would work out to be in the middle(ish) of the adjustment range.

But........

[geek]
The reason we need response fuel is that the ECU is expecting a spike on the MAF signal from the change in throttle. The volume of the manifold 'inhales' when you tip the throttle. This flow of air is normally seen by the MAF, but is air that does not enter the engine. The Speed Density calculation does not have this feature so we must recreate it so the ECU is happy (and the car doesn't stumble). If the manifold has volume X, and the MAP signal changes by Y, during time interval T we can calculate the amount of additional airflow this represents and add it to the Speed Density calculation.

We have both TPS based enrichment, and MAP based enrichment because for tip-in from idle the change in MAP happens too late........

[/geek]

I hope this makes sense......

it basically means ignore the settings, and let Turbobob populate the data there haha...

Yes this is normal, it will be corrected soon but Turbobob is always trying to keep up with other things (ie timing control).... whereas I say work out this small stuff then move on.. but whatever.

FWIW its probably not killing your mileage, I am getting better mileage than I ever have actually..

yea my gas mileage is also doing pretty good, its at about 23mpg for all out highway (and yes i do get into boost occasionally for fun)

im sure it could get 25mpg if i was a complete pansy and stayed in vacuum on steep hills

my city gas mileage is like 16mpg, part of it is due to the maftpro going to rich on throttle tip and part is due to driving style

but either way my gas mileage isnt bad for a 500bhp car
