Hi Bob

Has anyone had any problems upgrading their software? I have downloaded the 4.4 cd file and the update file as instructed, installed the tuner pro update and it says there was a problem initialising the program and won`t run.
Cheers

Hey guys, im looking to buy a MAFTPRO now. I currently have a blowthrough maft and emanage. Im going to be installing 14b's with headers, 720 injectors, and FMIC. I like that ability of control timing with the emanage, b/c i hear our cars has a "sweet spot" around 3500rpm where they naturally knock. I want to run in speed density mode and use my AEM WBO2 for the WOT tracking and use this for a boost controller. I was wondering what all i need to purchase. I know i need the high boost solenoid, air temp and extension cables but what else?

Any idea when timing control is going to be available?

Thanks for your help and advice.
Brian

Okay guys. I have yet to drive it around and won't until spring. But, I soldered everything except the T-taps. I'll save those for another day - my back hurts already.

AFTER IT'S WARM the idle only wavers 100 - 50 RPMs (which is normal for my car). It will dip 200 RPMs after I rev it; It only does this one after I rev.

I'd consider this a success. The car is very much driveable. All I have to do is set the afterstart right.

I thought I read in this thread a while back what the proper range for tps volts but now I can't find it. I adjusted my tps a while back according to the manual. I thought someone said 0.5 at idle and 4.5 at 100%. Mine is about .8 at idle and goes to 4.99 at 100%. I think this might be part of my low throttle issues I am having.

has anybody downloaded the new software? is it worth it to download it? cuz if its the same as our old version i won't bother with it, but if timing control is out for our cars on the new version im all for it.

if i do download the new version how does the pro know that im on a different software? do i have to hook it up to my laptop and get it to read the new software or sumthing? cuz i have yet to hook the laptop up to my car with the pro. i can never get it to read.
