I'm the only one here, I think, who has ONLY an idle problem. Everything else runs fine for me. But, I still hate to drive it if it's going to stall everytime the clutch is in.

No I have idle problems myself, but think were making some progress. Could be something with the TPS, still investigating.

sephiroth, timing control is still under development

4x4, im working on the bucking myself, i think i'm going to try raising my tps a little

runner, im shocked you're having so much trouble with stock injectors, give bob an IM and use his Bin file and see what happens....also verify all your connections by using tuner pro r/t's logging function and wiggle wires while the car is running

Ok. I need to back this up with a couple day by day comparos.... but my problem was NOISE on the TPS. Not sure if I am the only one this has happened to... but its happened to me TWICE now in that those little connector pins on the Pro can wallow out abit, and the connection isnt exactly sound and can induce noise on the sensor input to the pro. (Bob has sent me a new harness but I just didnt get around to installing it yet). This equals a very shitty running car which doesnt like to respond at all to tuning. I pushed the wire in abit and wiggled it and so forth and noticed the Transient response spiking I was seeing at idle cleared up. Thanks to Turbobob for indicating to watch this mode, as I woulda never looked at it. The TPS Voltage in logs was always smooth as butter, it just didnt pick up this small of a change I guess. The car has never ran better than what it just did. Now I hope it continues to do well when I try it again tomorrow. I am tempted to solder all my leads the pro itself, getting rid of this connector.... lol

what mode is it you were watching?

if a loose wire is all that was causeing all of this, think there is a chance that is my problem with the bucking while cruising?!

EDIT :: also dont know if i mentioned it or not.. the bucking problem is very on/off (fine one day, so bad i dont want to drive the next)

the cause of my buck ( pretty minor buck) is that the stock ecu cuts fuel at very light throttle, anything between 12-18tps

so my a/f goes lean while cruising like 18:1, this causes the car to buck

im hoping that if i raise my tps that the ECU will not cut fuel until i'm actually off the gas

your bucking problem sounds like a loose connection somewhere, whether it be a connection you made or a connection at the maftpro, you definitely have one

well, its not that the buck is horrid, just that it is VERY annoying when trying to cruise at a steady speed.

also, when i have the bucking problem, my AFR will jump up to 22:1 or so.. i just dont know if the AFR jump is due to the bucking, or if the buck is due to the AFR jump.

when you raise your tps, please let me know what the results are as i may/may not have the same problem as you.

Well, Rustang Cobra told me that it'd be a good idea to go log while idleing, then tug on the wires at the ECU and at the MaftPro. So I did that, but I'm not exactly sure what a loose connection would look like on a log. So, I'm going to post the logs. If anyone sees a loose connection, speak up. I don't think I see one

1. this is a log with the mainscale set to +10.0 it ran pretty well for a while here. Then, after I stopped logging, I tapped the gas pedal and then it began cycling again.

2. this is a log with the mainscale set to +10.0 . Also, in this log, the car died and I restarted it.

I just realized, I can't post a log. Well, I guess I'll just have to e-mail them. If you PM me your email I can send you them. They are pretty short.

View "Transient Response" on the line graph on the Log. See if it is very spikey or if its smooth till you gas it. Mine was very noisy and you can see it very good with the TR, it is my wiring to the Pro that is the cause. I do believe the Prior owner may have walloed out my Pins trying to extract them (DO NOT DO THAT), which is why i had problems. Turbobob was nice and sent me a brand new harness because of this, I just have to install it yet. You could have bad connections at the far end too though, I knew mine were good as I soldered them and soldered them well. If the TR is shakey, then you either have a bad MAP or TPS signal, and yes your car will run like Dog shit.
