When you do PM me, by then I should be looking into some fuel management....

Allright has anyone been able to use this thing in Speed Density Mode with a 2nd Gen, reliably and consistently? I will have what I think to be a good or decent tune, only to find hours or a day later its no good at all. I might give it a day or so more before I go back to afc.

As for trims, they are all over the board, drift from day to day or tune to tune.... maybe going back to the stock MAS will help me confirm that what I am seeing is or isnt normal....... but I cant get it to stay consistent for the life of me... and retuning an entirely different tune every day to get it out of the garage isnt what I had in mind. This afternoon I could not even lean it out enough to keep my trims from pegging rich, even -50 main and -30 low idle range.

Rob

EDIT: FWIW I have Evo 560s.

That's interesting, I've had problems with mine, too. It's a second gen. It idles fine now but it has to be at 13.0 AFR according to my LC1. Any other second gens in here?

Ok.. I just want to see if anyone can get it running well and keep it that way day in and day out. I know two who say its all good, but they are first gen. Rustang has Evo560s too, so I should be able to just drop in his bin. I would be very curious to see if it does anything for me but I dont think it will. I can get it running, and drive well, but the next day its all over again. Its like I did nothing for a hour or two the day before.

I don't think you can't just drop his bin right in. Your temperature sensor and pressure sensor locations may give very slightly different numbers due to their location/source to the maft-pro and would cause it to be off.

For example, I couldn't drop in the bin of a guy who had my same fuel system if his temp sensor was in the plenum above the exhaust and mine was in the y-pipe, nice and cool.

That's how I understand it. But throughout this thread, I've proved to have no idea of what i'm doing. ;-)

I dont think that would be an issue as we are using the exact same MAP location and the IAT is in the Y pipe now as well. I was thinking my problems were due to the IAT location when it was in the plenum because it was getting really freakin hot and obviously was mislocated because I made a mistake but now that it is in the Y pipe and the temps read alot more practical (40-80*) it still did not help anything. Therefore, since we have the same setup it should work, but I doubt it will from what I have seen. It maybe a 2nd gen issue, or it maybe something that I havent been able to find yet. I dont think its tuning, as when its pretty good after a few hours of screwing with it the next day its way off again deeming the prior day pointless.
