Ive seen what happens to fresh engines that run rich/lean or get hurt being tuned and I do not want the same thing to happen to me.

I plan on taking the belt of the supercharger and running the car without boost for the break in period.

I want to set the car up using speed density
The MAFT Pro is like any other solution besides stock. The startup is dependent on the quality of the install (don't goof up...), how attentive you are, and how far from stock your setup is.

You will be fine.

I am very attentive..I am running 310 cc injectors with a rising rate FPR set to 58lb of fuel pressure so the injectors are flowing like 330-360cc. I have a Walbro 255 fuel pump and im currently set up for 6psi and i am running the NA ecu.

If you use the 3s speed density harness it will plug right into it. If you wire everything directly into the ECU with the universal harness yes just leave it dangle... this is the approach I took because I believe it is cleaner/neater.

FYI I have available 2 4" OD (3.75"/95.3mm ID) aluminum tubular inserts to plug into the stock induction, cut to length for the K&N RE-0870 Air filter for use with speed density. They are a tight fit but fit pretty good. Will take pics if requested. Much better/nicer than PVC, PM me if interested...

First off this thread kicks ass and was a huge part in helping me to decide on what route I wanted to go for engine management. I have decided that I am going to start picking up the parts to convert to Speed Density Mode. Here is my parts listing any advice is always appreciated. I am going to start ordering each part as I have extra cash available.

The plan is to run the MAFT Pro in speed density mode with wide band 02 and using the MAFT Pro for boost control as well.

Here is my parts list, my current mods are in my sig.

-Custom down pipe and high flow exhaust.

-Injectors Still undecided on whether to use DSM 450's or to go with 550's really could use some help here I want to be able to max my 13g's out.

-Fuel pump still undecided on type but it will be upgraded and hotwired

-MAF Translator Pro
-Lambada Cable with O2 Sensor
-O2 Bung & Plug Kit
-Speed Density Harness for 3S W/MAFT Pro
-MAFT Pro Boost Harness PNP
-High Boost Solenoid for MAFT Pro
-GM 3 Bar MAP Sensor
-GM Air Temp Sensor for MAFT Pro
-Piece of 4 inch OD pipe to replace factory MAS

Let me know if I am missing anything on my list. Once again great thread and hopefully I will be posting some great results in the near future.
