the boost control problem was due to his start DC% being too low, i told him to set it between 45-50 for 10psi (he was at 25% before that) and it worked out, he hit fuel cut on stock injectors at 11-12psi with 19ts and the cut out problem is due to his 10 pin harness connector (specifically the airflow wire), when he moves the harness the airflow the ECU sees 0, then he pushes it again and it sits right at 44hz

Ya... thank goodness it was nothing internal. All the values on the Maft Pro Display (air in and out) was looking good... wasnt till I started logging air into the ECU via the Hybrid Datalogger till I realized it was intermittently hitting 0 Hz.... which was causing my bucking/stalling/etc. It seems those pins on the end of the wires can wallow out a bit, causing bad connections. I bent the Green wires Pin back together the best I could, and it has at least temporarily cured the problem (couldnt replicate it again).
As for the boost, ya it was STRICTLY DC% that got me were I was looking to go. Adjusting the start psi, set psi, DC% to around 25-30%, and upping the Gain did nothing for me. Took me till ~45% DC to get to ~10-11psi, ~47% DC I hit fuel cut at around 11-12psi.. I am not sure how much my pressure sourcing from the Compressor housing outlets affect this.... but low DC settings is for the birds. The boost still has some bounce back and forth to it, but I suspect it needs abit more tweaking to get it fully dialed in, I am just happy the damn thing start upping boost and at least responding to my commands haha. Now I just need to get that Laptop working with the Maft Pro, then install these damn EVO injectors cause 11psi isnt gonna cut it haha. Bob I will send you email. Rob EDIT: Thanks to Rustang for helping me getting this to up the boost. I had moved the DC from 0-30% with no improvement so I was thinking that wasnt the problem. Very cool cause I was bout ready to redo some vacuum lines to switch solenoid bungs... that woulda sucked. |
