haha its not crimped.... its twisted around the CAS wire at the ecu and soldered in place
it still does it try it on your car, just give the RPM wire a good tug at idle, you'll see the needle drop

So what kind of wait are we looking at before timing control is ready for the 3/S platform? I know you can't give me an exact date, but are we talking a week, a month, a year?

i think it mostly depends on how much we support bob by buying his products
if he sees alot of revenue from the 3/S crowd, he'll devote more of his time to us than the other platforms, GMs, Subies, DSMs etc... but im sure it wont be long |

question.. since i already bought the maftpro, would i have to purchase something else to control timing, or will it just be a software upgrade?
also.. how do i register the software, or do i have to pay $40 ?

We are planning for the timing stuff to be a software upgrade and additional harness. The software will be free, the harness will be a couple bux.
If you were among the pre-orders, you will receive your registration free. Otherwise you can register it for 30.00 The software is fully functional, just has that nag screen. Bob |

I have a question for those of you using the MAFT as the boost controller with the high PSI version. How is it working? I am thinking about going this route and ditching the profec B. Any idea on how high of boost it can allow?

so far ive taken the GM boost solenoid to 21psi, im going to test the high boost one in a week or two, but i'm guessing it will take whatever boost i throw at it with myturbos
the gm is plastic, the high boost in metal |

i have to play with it a little more but its pretty good so far
you can see my boost curve on this dyno graph i get a 19psi spike, but it sits well at 17psi after the spike is done with, i have to lower the start psi a little www.people.umass.edu/dthornic/graph.jpg |
