Hey guys, I still got my idle issue that I can't seem to be able to figure out. I have the richest idle and I dont seem to be able to control it but I dont know if its a maft problem.

Is it normal for the ecu to not be able to read under 25-30 hrz from the maf or whatever is producing the signal like the pro?

No matter how much fuel I remove my logger shows no less than 25hrz and the afr does not change. I can see the pro sending a lower signal every time I remove fuel but its like the ecu doesent understand the low hrz signal.

In fact I can remove so much fuel that the pro sends a 5 hrz signal with no change to the idle or logger reading.

Any idea what might be causing this? I'm sure this is not right

Nevermind, it does seem the ecu doesent do less than 25hrz and it is a common problem.

Overboosted,
You shouldn't be having an issue with 560cc injectors. I've tuned 780s before, and had a perfect 14.7 dithering AFR. (in fact I know of one guy running 1050cc injectors on E85)
Do you have a logger? If so, what are your fuel-trims and O2 trim saying?

I don't know of any issues with the T-Pro and the 99 ECU. Do you have any more info on the 99ecu?

I have no trims since my o2's are unplugged, my wideband has taken over that job. What the other guy in the other thread was saying is that when the ecu gets no feedback from the o2's it will ignore any signal less than 23-25 hrz.

I dont know if this is true or not but it seems to be exactly what my ecu is doing at idle.

If the reported airflow is way out of wack, the ECU will give up on it, and just resort to a built-in AFR (which is rich). Then it won't matter what you change @ idle. This is what it sounds like is going on...
Your FO shouldn't be so low at idle. A friends 3S FO with 1050cc injectors (on E85) is ~50hz (his idle is a little high though).

Try resetting the ECU, and not pull so much fuel at idle. Most larger injectors need less correction at low IDC, due to increased deadtime.

I have tried adding fuel to see what happens and nothing changes till the hrz signal is matched then my idle gets richer and richer from there. I'll see what resetting the ecu does

Gentleman, I just rebuild the motor and I'm having isses with the car running... it really didn't run good before i took it apart eaither, but good enough to make it around the block. Right now i have to pump gas once in a while for it to stay running.

So i just want to ask if I can get someones tune just so the car idles alright.

I have 3bar GM map, temp sens, 560cc evo 8 injectors, stock motor, in speed density.

Does anyone have good running settings i can upload to my maf-t pro so the car idles by it's self at least?... VE tables and every thing?.... i would greatly apprecite it if some could do this for me ... and explain how to do it ...it would be a very good starting point for me, thenk you!
