As long as you have the direct timing wired up properly and vehicle 2 selected then WOT timing table will adjust your timing.

I have stock ICs with upgraded IC piping... easily the biggest restriction at this point. I've been reluctant to go to a FMIC due to the attention it will bring from the cops in california.

AFR is at 11.5, too lean?

Edit: Updated sig to be clearer.

11.5:1 isn't too lean (you could try a little richer and see what happens). What IDC are you getting?

Pulling 2degrees worth of timing should have killed that little bit of knock.

11.5 is way too lean for stock sidemounts IMO. I bet you heat soaked them one the first run causing more knock in the second run. Aim for 11.0:1 and I bet your knock will go away.

DSM sidemounts would be a good option for you

EDIT: I bet if you looked at you air temp you will see the rise in temp

Also Rogue_Ant, what would cause the maft pro to not remember a bin that was uploaded when the car is shut down? Today I seem to have to load it at every start up or it will not run. I dont get it, should I double check all my wiring?

It drives mint cruising around though.

Try resetting the unit, and then reloading the latest version and .bin.
To reset it hold down the right two buttons while powering on until it says reset (or something similar). You will probably have to reload the 5.03 software and your .bin.

It happens sometimes - not a real common occurance, usually a reset is all that is needed.

Hey Bob, I need to figure out what to do with my maftpro. Not sure if you remember, but I have always had problems with loose connections on the top of the unit. I actually posted a vid maybe a year ago? showing how moving the unit would cause my car to stall/near stall. I even replaced all the wiring to make sure that was not the issue. After finally installing a friends unit temporarily to try to solve an ignition issue, I found that my car both ran smoother and didn't stall out no matter how much I would move the unit.

The maftpro was not my ignition issue, but I am concerned how someone elses unit with my bin uploaded cause my car to run better. I would also like to know what I should do to fix the loose connection issue.

EDIT :: Here is the vid I posted up a while ago..
