What is the MAF frequency at idle? (FO on the LCD)
I decided to turn my AC on yesterday since it got to +100 in california. When my AC was on, I noticed the rich-idle problem went away, possible just b/c the RPMs came up a bit. So, last night when I got home I reset my ECU and also increased my idle speed a bit from 650 to 850. The problem seems to have gone away at this point... I'll advise as to whether it comes back or not.

Onto the next issue:

Is there something in the maftpro that removes fuel on hot startups? The thing runs insanely lean ONLY DURING WARM STARTS for roughly a few minutes. During cold starts it fires up great. My afterstart-enrich is 0.0 b/c I don't want cold startup to run any richer than it already is (12.x - 13.x).

I'm confused...

Please help,
Jeff

The Pro does nothing different on a warm-start..
Does the 3si have a Fuel Pressure Solenoid (sorry I'm more familiar with DSMs the the 3si). If so is yours still in place or removed? Also where is your IAT mounted?

There is a fuel pressure solenoid mounted on the firewall for the vr4. Mine is still in tact. My IAT is mounted just before the bend in the y-pipe. Ideas?

I would take the fuel pressure solenoid out of the loop. And see if that changes your hot-start (or cold start).

ok... i have to post because i cant figure this thing out and its really frustrating.

I cannot get rid of my idle bouncing (~800 rpms). I've messed with just about everything including the biss screw. I'm runnning the newest Pro update (5.03). I've had my mainscale up from -38% to -64%, plugged and unplugged stock O2's for a couple days, PT tracking on and off, and more.

rarely it will idle without bouncing for a few seconds but then start bouncing again.
Mods:
720cc's @ 40psi
stock cams, ported heads, 14B's, dual feed fuel... (read sig)

Any ideas?

Adjust the mainscale to get a decent compramise between idle and cruising. Then use the user-tunes to fine-tune the car.

With 550cc injectors I would start with a Mainscale around -32.

alright new problem now. i updated to v5.03 and started from scratch on my tune. it runs well now. well ofr the short time i've driven it. my problem is im hitting fuel cut off at about 5500rpm. my IDCs are at the highest 83% my airflow is no higher than 1200Hz. does this sound like a ecu or maft problem thanks.
