I've started monitoring the CEL on the MaftPro, how can I tell which CEL # maps to which cell on the following VE table?
VE table MAP(Kpa) RPM 00 400 800 1200 1600 2200 2800 3400 4000 4600 5200 5800 6400 7000 7600 320 78.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 300 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 280 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 260 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 240 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 220 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 200 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 180 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 160 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 140 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 120 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 100 77.0 80.5 83.5 87.0 90.0 93.5 93.5 92.5 91.5 91.0 90.5 90.0 90.0 90.0 90.0 80 70.0 80.0 80.0 82.0 83.5 85.5 85.0 83.0 82.0 79.0 78.0 77.0 77.0 77.0 77.0 60 63.0 66.0 68.0 70.0 73.0 77.0 78.0 77.0 73.0 70.5 69.5 68.0 67.0 66.0 66.0 40 54.0 56.0 56.0 62.0 63.0 70.0 73.0 73.0 69.0 66.0 64.0 63.0 62.0 61.0 61.0 20 45.0 50.5 50.0 50.5 54.0 61.5 63.5 63.5 62.5 59.0 58.5 56.5 56.0 55.5 55.0 00 43.0 43.0 44.0 47.0 48.0 49.5 51.5 51.0 46.0 44.0 43.0 42.0 42.0 42.0 42.0 I've noticed something weird where the CEL value on the MaftPro usually is stuck on 0 but will bounce around to some other values (41, 51, etc...) but then returns right back to 0... what's going on here? Shouldn't it always match a cell value on the above table? I'm looking to decrease fuel at around 43 MAP(KPA) for cruising and increase fuel at around 30 MAP(KPA) for reving in neutral. Currently I'm running lean in neutral reving and way rich in gear while cruising. Bob, maybe you can release a new VE table for us that would address this problem? It sounds like multiple users are experiencing the same lean/rich conditions. I'm thinking of just bumping up the fuel for lower MAP values a little bit (i.e. +1 on each value in the bottom 2 rows) to richen it up a bit during neutral revs. Please offer any advice if you have it. - Jeff

cell 1 is the lower left, counting up as you go across. cell 16 is the second row, first column.

So, updated my Pro to 5.03 yesterday and uploaded the stealth5.03 file TB posted. Running larger injectors than TB is (Evo injectors flowing ~620), so I tweaked the mainscale to about -26 and fiddled with the low range 400-1200 to get the hot idle back where I wanted it. Was able to boost to 15psi in 3rd gear without knock for the first time in a long while.
Still need to get the .xdf file for 5.03 to update TunerPro. How do you view the VE table in real time while driving?

start the ALDL logging, and click the "Enable ALDL Data Tracing" button. When the VE table is on the screen the cells in use will be yellow. Bob |
