5.00 done, here it is.
I have also attached my current Bin. It drives pretty well, decel is a little rich yet but its getting there. Its tuned so the trims all settle to 81, and the O2 trim stays around 80 most of the time. The car has a stock fuel system with the fuel pump resistor bypassed. Turbos are HKS 13G's, stock intercoolers. IAT is tapped into the stock plastic Y pipe, and my BOV is reversed. In this Bin, the user tunes are all set to 0, and I am tuning the VE table. I am using the user defined axes for the VE table. This is a new feature in version 5. Be sure to update to version 5 before trying this Bin. Use the "vehicle 2" XDF file.

I've been out of the loop on this for a while. I think I'm still running 4.65 or something like that. Can you give us a rundown on the features and new features from the last "stable" version of the software?

Specific features changed since 4.80
User modifiable VE table axes user tunable analog MAF table minor improvement to TPS response fuctions (was making idle too rich and unstable at times) "airflow limiter" to assist tuning drop-throttle fuel enhanced TPS function for analog output, fixes PTFB "setpoint" setting is now a "max" setting and can be used to limit analog output functions reversed TPS for Subaru legacy incorporated aux fuel pump control incorporated The changes have been evolutionary, not revolutionary. If your car is running well with 4.65, there is no specific advantage to moving up. What I really need to work on now is the documentation. Bob |

sitting at idle, the TPS response fuel should not trigger until the throttle is moved.
Any analog input has some jitter to the reading, and I was noticing that the TPS response fuel was triggering at idle. I changed the routine slightly to require a little more signal change from the TPS before the response fuel is added. To see if you are being affected, set your TPS enrichment to 0 and see if your idle gets noticably leaner. Bob |

What are the two enhanced TPS options for?

the idea is this:
you use one of the analog outputs as a TPS input to the ECU, and when the RPM or MAP/Load exceeds the thresholds, this simulated TPS swings to max, putting the ECU into open loop / WOT mode. The issue with a 3S is that the analog outputs are busy simulating the IAT and Baro. So to use it, you install a resistor in place of the IAT and use analog 1 to feed TPS to the ECU. I developed it primarily for the Supra guys, but it works on a 3S. Bob |

So I can leave these values at 0 unless I want to change my wiring loom to move the analogue input.
Thanks for this. 5.00 has really helped the customers we have in the UK, and stabilised the idle fuelling for some. |
