Since I don't really have the means to get these files uploaded at the moment. Would it be worth a try to remove both my 02 sensors and move my wideband up into one of the factory spots? This would ensure no leaks (or I would hope so) and I could enable pt tracking.

How well would that work?

Boring Re: ---===The Official MAFT-Pro Thread===---

I take it all back!!

I scoped my signals last night with a sillyscope, and whilst noisey, they were within limits for a vehicle. lol

ALL IDLE PROBLEM SUFFERERS: It could be your fuel pressure regulator!!
The FSE "Power boost" FPR is a dogs dinner. Throw it in the bin!!

I changed over to an aftermarket adjustable of unknown manufacture.
(I took it to bits first to assure myself of the engineering).
The car is running much smoother, and can hit target AFR no problem.

It seems the FSE FPR was allowing the fuel pressure to pulse. Came out the back end of a dog.

Here's a good one too.

I obviously didnt tighten the lock knut up properly on the FPR.

For my run home from work last night, I was pushing more like 3bar fuel pressure at idle (instead of 2.3-2.5bar). Crazy thing is, despite having to pull 20% fuel when cruising, the car ran brilliantly. Smooth as a smooth thing. My guess is, with a hot wired supra fuel pump (which seems to be pretty agricultural) and 550cc injectors, I think a higher base fuel pressure helped the regulator smooth things out, and helped the injectors make a good spray.

Anyone else tried running slightly higher fuel pressure?

its worth a try, I want to do the same with mine. I am messing with other stuff at the moment and its too stinking cold do do any real work on the car right now......

I am smoothing out my base tune some just using my O2 Trim, I will post another file tomorrow.

I have been asked a lot about version 5 and the user manual. Where are we with these?

I got my car working fairly decent with no factory o2 sensors and pt tracking enabled using my lm-1 off the rear bank in the stock location. I've been watching the Correction Factor at idle and adjusted accordingly in my low tune section and I'm quite happy so far. My WOT tracking is a bit off however, it seems your tune needs to be fairly close for tracking to do its job. I'm gonna order a battery for my laptop today.

cool, generally I tune a little rich and let the tracking remove 5-10%

I will put that at the top of the list after 5 is done. 5 is "content-frozen" so I can finish the regression testing.

(5.00 is really just 4.89 "done')
