If you want to use the timing control you will need the harness for that.

You can get a plug-and-play harness from Boomslang.

Otherwise, the list looks pretty good.

Okay, thank you for confirming. I'll need timing control with CA 91 octane & 720cc injectors.

I found the wiring instructions for the 3/S here: http://www.fullthrottletech.com/atta...7&d=1164832217, but I'm still a bit confused.

It seems like all I need to do is cut the wire going from the CAS to the ECU and run both ends to the MAFT Pro's pin 8 of 10 & pin 3 of 8.

Is there actually a harness specifically for this, or do I just use any wire that's the right gauge?

If there is a 3/S timing control harness, can you please post the direct link? Feel free to PM me if you'd rather go that route.

Thank you,
Jeff

Yes, you just intercept the CAS signal and run it thru the Pro.

There is a harness kit for the timing control

Is it just the boost harness + an extra wire?
Can I just put an extra connector into my boost control harness?

pretty much, the connector pins are not readily available though.

Drop me a PM and I can get some for you.

So I've finally been able to get my laptop and tunerpro software up and running on my 92 VR4, Everything is wired in properly for SD mode, all new sensors, new 3.1L, new heads, etc, DR650's, running version 4.80, 720 cc injectors, tried resetting my ecu, etc, the car runs way too rich at start up, I have to set my mainscale at or around -15% just to get it to idle properly and somewhat driveable, haven't messed with AF tracking, PT tracking or anything, what could cause the mainscale to be so off?? These injectors are new denso 720's , even had them checked out, etc, everythings good, also running 42psi fuel pressure.

thanks

we can fix the startup later.

are you watching the trims? or are you running with the O2's unplugged?

If you are running stock cams, then set the VE table to #2 (setup menu)

Use the mainscale to get the cruise fuel tuned in. If tuning with the trims, you want the low and mid trims to be less than 100. If you are running without O2's, then tune for 13:1 - 14:1.

Then tune the idle and startup stuff.

Where is your IAT sensor installed?

Did you check all the sensor readings to make sure they are ok? Feel free to post them here.

what fuel pump, wiring, and regulator?

What is your fuel pressure at idle with the vacuum line on, and off?
