Is the combination range a varying combination depending on where you are in the range. For instance, if you at 3000RPM and the low setting is 5+ and the mid setting is 15+, and the low point is set at 35 and the mid point at 100, does it not matter what point in the range between 35 and 100 or is the value 10+ no matter where or is it a linear correct like at 39 you would be 6+ and 95 would be 14+.

Well, i just everything hooked up/set up/cranked...

I am running speed density mode, and it idles fine, etc.. but when i give it gas, let the rpms drop, then give it more gas it takes a few seconds for it to rev up again, is this normal?

havent driven it yet becuase of this next problem..

I have the XD-1/LC-1 wideband hooked up. the guage shows the car running around 12-14 AFR, but the maftpro shows 10.3, then drops when i rev (where the guage goes up)

the way it is hooked up is.. The yellow wire off of the LC-1 (analog out 1) is plugged into the Orange wire from 10 pin connector, and the Green wire off of the LC-1 (Analog ground) is plugged into the Purple wire from the 10 pin connector.
AFR Source is set to 1

also.. how do you go about datalogging/tuning via computer?

i have my laptop to where it sees the maftpro, and i can get it to "emulate" but no values show up anywhere on screen, i see nothing you can change, and everytime i try to do something, it asks me for a file which i dont have

try the different AFR sources ( my lm1 used 3 )

you have to load a couple files, a .bin and a .xdf and a .ads file

then connect to the "emulator" and connect to aldl datalogging

use analog out 2.

which file is it asking for?

Load tpro4002.bin, this is the file containing all the settings and VE table.

You need to select the tpro4002.xdf file, this will put a list of editable values down the left side. Double click on the item you want to edit and it will open a window. Any changes you make need to be uploaded into the Pro unless you are 'emulating' in which case the changes get sent to the pro when you click the update button (don't forget to save the file when you are done.)

You need to select the tpro4002.ADS in the ALDL/logger setup screen. and select a logfile to save to.

bob this all seems very hard to get on and tuned correctly.. Does anyone have this one and tuned in a few days and working right? I really do want to by the air density and buy this. This works as a electric boost controller?

its just like any other fuel control system, you can get a very base tune within minutes, just like an safc, however because there are more options, it takes a little longer to get everything perfect...

yes, it can work as a EBC if you buy everything needed

About the same here (minus the pictures, and Bob did most of the install for me). With zero knowledge of tuning with this particular controller (minus a 10 minute crash course w/ Bob) my car was perfectly driveable the moment I pulled out of his driveway, and within 100 miles I had the tune decent enough to spin through second as well as first (where I could only chirp second before). It's very easy to get a good tune going as long as you know how to read your data logger.
