Thumbs up Re: ---===The Official MAFT-Pro Thread===---

hi, i have a question if i may,

when on wot in 3rd and 4th the car runs great until it hits something in the rev band at around 6k, it doesn't do it in 1st or 2nd though and i have not tried 5th and 6th

i am running a basic setup on my 96 3000gt of 13g's, standard fuel, fmic, totally de-catted, and tubular manifolds.

any ideas?

is there a fuel cut on our cars or something similar?

many thanks

paul

Sorry Paul, I meant to look at this in the UK forum, but forgot. What have you got AFR Tracking set to at those rev ranges? I think most people in the UK using maps from Rob have left the AFR as 11.5:1 in all rev points, but this is a little high at 5000 and 6000 rpm. Try reducing to 12.5 and 13.5 respectively to stop over fuelling.

I should know this answer, but want to verify anyway. All MAF-T Pro's are universal, right? Going to be helping a buddy put one in a customer's '87 GN, but I think the Pro was originally purchased for a 3S. We have the p'n'p harness for the GN, but no speed density setup for it. Have to use the stock MAF for now. Just need to know if we need to upload any diff. versions or anything to run it in a GN.

The Pro is the same, just update to the newest version.
