If your meth controller has a boost hookup on it just leave the maf wire disconnected. Mine seemed to run smoother that way.

Maft pro has an auxilary wire that can be set up to activate when the nos goes on. When the wire is activated, your tune will go to the auxilary tune, which changes target afr, boost, timing if you have it set up for that, and maybe a few other things, but yes, it can have a second tune for nos.

You can connect it to the MAF output of the Pro.

But if it will run with a boost/MAP input there is an advantage to doing it that way.

Post a link to the manual...

I assume he has the Snow stage 2. It has a built in map for mitsubishi cars that ramps the meth with airflow for smoothness or something I guess, hense the tap. It also has the MAP sensor built in that controls the on and primary ramp rate.

I have the same setup, but haven't installed it. I personally would hook it up anyways (tap after the MAFT-Pro), otherwise you just spent the money for the stage 2 and only using the capabilities of the stage 1, something like that. Don't have a manual, so I don't know.

What does the RPM Max setting do under boost control?

Per-load spark settings would be ultra-sexy. Just sayin'.

Still loving the maft-pro. I had my engine apart this last week to look at the internals. The engine still looks good after a year of being a 10:1 TT conversion with the NA ecu + maft-pro.

One other quick question on top of the RPM Max for boost control.

What criteria causes the stock ecu to go into open loop operation? I'm curious if there is a boost limit that causes open loop mode and if there is a throttle% that causes open loop operation?

Also having a problem with tunerpro. If I put 0 in the spark tables in tunerpro and upload it to the maft, the maft reads -10 in the tables. If I put -10 in the tables in the maft and download to tunerpro, tunerpro reads +25 in the spark adjust tables.

Something is not quite right there. 0 in the tables means no spark correction, right?

Tunerpro has some REAL limitations that I have not overcome for the spark advance tables. It cannot display different spark modes. I need to make a different XDF file for the 3S spark advance guys.

For now, tune the spark advance from the keypad, as I am out of town and can't do it from here.
